Sarrainodu : A Mass Masala
Sarrainodu – Directed by Boyapati Srinu. this film made huge waves even before the film was released and it stars Allu Arjun, Catherine Tresa, Rakul Preet Singh, Srikanth, Aadi Pinisetty, Jaya Prakash, Brahmanandam among others in pivotal roles. This action venture was released last friday and this film hasn’t left any stones unturned. With the mesmerizing dance moves by Bunny and high octave action sequences has impressed all and the entire team has given their best performance which is another highlight. The film has indeed stood up and has managed to grab huge attention among the movie fans.
This is usual mass masala story that is blended with politics, revenge, emotions and actions. Though there are few flaws the first half is complete masala which keeps us engaging throughout with an interesting interval that can blow you out. The second half of the film has emotional segment loaded with full on action. 8 to 10 min could have been edited from this segment and would have taken the movie to the next level.
Allu Arjun as Ghana, who is jobless man who left military due to the flaws that he sees in the country gives an outstanding performance and grabs huge attention from the fans, thanks to the high octave action sequence and for the grand entry. Aashi Pinisetty has been introduced as a bad fearless villain with this film and he looks fit and gives his best performance.
Catherine as sexy MLA performs well and Rakul Preet Singh has been given only limited scope to perform and both the actresses look beautiful as-usual and mesmerizes the audience with their appearance.
Brahmanandamm and Vidyu Raman as Tamilian added tinge of comedy to this film and engages us with their performances.
Director Boyapati : The screenplay is good. He has given equal mass weightage for the lead actor Bunny as well for the villain Aadi. But the film has a routine storyline with a predictable climax and the second half could have been cut by 8 to 10min. Dialogues have been written well and it added masala.
Cinematography by Rishi Punjabi : Simply brilliant and each and every scene looks outstanding and grabs huge attention, especially the action sequences have been canned well.
Music by Thaman: The Bgm is engaging and goes in par with the film. Thaman should be credited for it and all the songs were good and is a huge plus for this action venture
Verdict- A Mass entertainer specially for Bunny’s fans.
