Tamil Stars Real life Dare devil stunts
There are reports saying that all big hero films have been given red cards by the distributors. But these reports are said to be false. Thirupur Subramaniyam gave a statement about this issue saying that the big hero movies that has been released after June 2016 are failures. Movies like Kabali, Thodari, Kodi, Kashmora, Bogan, Bhaivara, Remo and Singam 3 are 25% – 50% loss for distributors. said Thirupur Subramaniyam.
He also mentioned that, “producers do not reveal the true box office collections. For instance Kabali producer Thanu had given advertisement for the film saying that it ran for 50 day 100 days and even 200 days.
Is it really possible for the movie to run for 200 days given the present scenario. Definitely not.
A more accurate fact would be that no movies would run for more than 3 weeks apart from Chennai, across Tamil Nadu. These producers cheat audience by advertising a big star film for 100 days.
The heroes themselves are not aware of what their actual market is. They get carried away by the producers false statements. He even mentioned that Superstar Rajinikath is a parrot locked in a gold cage. He wouldn’t have given his call sheet to Ranjith if he had known Kabali would be a failure.
Further he added, “Due to the over domination of the producers in the cine industry, the distributors were unable to connect with Rajinikath to reveal to him the real box office situation.
Back in the days, Superstars like MGR, Shivaji would inquire the producers, distributors directly about how their movie is doing and if the movie isn’t doing well and incurs loss, they would compensate it with their next movie. Even Rajnikanth has been following the same since the beginning but for the past 2 years he has been avoiding us.
Hence he has been mislead by producers. Finally he mentioned that the distribution federation will not stop these big hero film releases. He further added that, let these 7 big heroes release their own movies so that they will know their own market. These actors can enjoy and earn 300 crores like they claim for their so called successful movies. And they can earn a lot and celebrate their success. This is our distribution federation’s decision.
