Starring superstar Ranjinikanth in the lead role, director Shankar’s 2.0 has made a humungous history in Indian cinema.
2.0 was made with a massive 500 crore budget which was produced by Lyca Productions with ease. The movie also did feature Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar as the antagonist. Amy Jackson has played as a female robot.
The movie which was shot completely with a 3D camera was released all over the globe. Recently, Rakesh Gowthaman, the managing director of the popular Vettri Theatre at Chennai has revealed that 2.0 is now highest grossing film ever in the theatre’s history.
He also highlighted that 3D glass charges have not been included and that the data has not been adjusted for inflation while looking over at the collections in the theatre.
