Bollywood Beauty and Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was in the city recently for a store launch said that Ajith deserved the success he has got. Ajith and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had been part of Mani Ratnam’s Kandukondein Kandukondein which released in 2000. The film was a hit with the audience and critics alike. Though Ajith and Aishwarya didn’t have many scenes together, Ash remembered Thala with a lot of affection.
She had said that Ajith is always professional and she is very happy with the success he has received and he deserves it. he added that if she ever met him again, she would love to congratulate him. also had Mamootty, Tabu, Abbas along with the late Manivannan, the late Srividya and the late Raghuvaran. The film was directed by Rajiv Menon and has music by AR Rahman.
