Saaho is undoubtedly the anticipated film to hit screens this year. Fans are eagerly waiting for the big release of Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor’s magnum opus. The film which was going to hit the big screens on this Independence Day has now shifted its release date averting its clash with Nerkonda Paarvai and Mission Mangal. The makers of ‘Saaho’, today released an official statement revealing the new release date of the film according to which ‘Saaho’ will now release on the 30th of August instead of 15th August this year.
The film was initially clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’ and Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai, however, the change in the release date has averted the Independence Day box office clash but the film is all set to clash with Suriya’s multistarrer action thriller Kaappan that is scheduled to release on August 30.
This will be a clash as both the films have high expectations among the Tamil crowd. Prabhas has cemented his place with the Baahunali franchise and Suriya is an all-time star. Saaho features an ensemble cast which includes Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma, among others. Kaappaan also has a huge star cast of Surya, Arya, Mohanlal, Boman Irani, and Sayyeesha.
