Samantha Akkineni is basking in the success of her recently-released flick, Oh Baby, which is receiving laurels from all quarters. Directed by Nandini Reddy, the film is a Telugu remake of Korean flick, Miss Granny. Word has it that the film might get remade in Hindi. The film has managed to mint Rs 17 crore worldwide in the opening weekend. This is a huge number for a women-centric film in Tollywood. Samantha and the team of Oh Baby are extremely happy with the reception from critics and audience.
The film was produced by Suresh Productions, which belongs to Rana Daggubati’s family. A few days ago, the makers held a success meet which was graced by Rana Daggubati. When asked about a possible Hindi remake, The Baahubali actor had stated that the story originally written in Korean and adapted into many languages in the world. And definitely will look at making it soon in Hindi.
The story of the film revolves around a 70-year-old woman who gets into the body of a young woman after having herself photographed at a mysterious photo studio. How things and their life change is the crux of the story. Well, if everything falls into place, a Hindi remake of Oh Baby will be made for sure.
